Bandaging Lab: Modified Robert Jones and the Art of the Tie-Over

Cytology Wet Lab
Earn 1.5 hours of RACE approved CE credit.
In this 90-minute, hands-on lab, veterinarians and technicians (in separate sessions) will rotate through self-guided stations focused on clinical dermatology and cytology. Participants will review cases, assess cytology under a microscope, determine next diagnostic steps, and explore digital cytology, microscope care, and dermatology diagnostic kits.

Suture Techniques

This 2-hour interactive, personalized workshop is for veterinarians and technicians looking to expand and enhance their suturing skills. (time block includes networking break in exhibit hall) Using models, you will practice various suture patterns, useful knots (hand ties, friction knots, Aberdeen, et al.), tacking and walking sutures, and gaining an understanding of knot security, tensile strength, and available suture for various cases.
